TRAINING INFORMATION

Kelly’s Training uses the most up-to-date, effective, and rewarding positive training methods available! Kelly’s Training wants to show you how much FUN training can be!

IN-HOME PRIVATE TRAINING

In-home training is our most popular and preferred technique of training. The first session is an evaluation of the dog, his environment, and the needs and desires of the family.

Further sessions provide one-on-one training with as many family members as possible along with extensive handouts provided of the techniques taught. Scheduling of training sessions is flexible in order to accomodate the busy schedules of today's families. In-home training is ideal for puppies, dogs with behavioral issues either within the home or outside the home, or dogs that need to learn basic obedience. Please call for more details. 818-985-4800

GROUP CLASSES

All classes are taught by Kelly Moren at our Training and Daycare facility located at 5224 Vineland Ave. (just North of Magnolia on the East side of Vineland). Classes are 5 weeks long and class size is limited to 10 dogs.

Multiple human family members are allowed to observe, but only one person should work with the dog during each class. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Kelly’s Training emphasizes communication between dog and owner through the teaching of functional obedience, problem prevention and problem solving. All group classes are $120 for 5 weeks.

Beginning Obedience
Basic Obedience is best taught in a non-distracting environment one on one. Therefore, I do not offer Beginning Obedience group classes. I reccomend that my clients take private lessons as the retention and satisfaction level is much higher in this individualized setting. See In-home Private Training above.

Intermediate/Advanced Obedience and Trick classes

Kelly's Training Basic Obedience graduates are encouraged to continue their education with intermediate and advanced classes. All training will use positive reinforcement and motivational methods. We will discuss canine behavior, communication using body language, and how dogs think and learn. Please call for new class start dates.
